We wanted to create a new kitchen/toilet and staircase facade for the community hall in the converted St John's Church, Fernham. We chose solid oak panels to mirror the new floor (in engineered oak). Everything was manufactured by the Carter and MacArthur from scratch. Ten years on, and in a busy community space, the whole oak facade and all the doors and staircase look and work as good as new, a testament to the exceptional quality of the craftsmanship and care taken by the team. I am in the process of packing up to move house and the saddest part of all is leaving my lovely solid oak kitchen behind. Several years ago Carter and Mc Arthur built my bespoke kitchen and fitted out my utility room The level of of craftsmanship and quality of service was second to none and it has been much admired and envied by others. It looks as good today as it did when it was first installed. We had them back when it was time to upgrade our home office and sadly as it is fitted so we have to leave that behind too. The lady who is buying our house has fallen in love with the kitchen. I am sure kitchen. It was the kitchen that sold the house, so I know it will be in good hands. Looking on the bright side I get the opportunity to start again in the new house we are planning to build and some time soon I will be back knocking on the company's door with new designs.
