I changed driving instructors to go with Christine and I couldn't be happier with that decision, Christine is a great instructor who helped me get through my test! She had a lot of patience and I highly recommend Christine to anyone who is looking for an instructor. Thanks once again Christine for all of your help!

Christine is a great teacher - patient, calm and thorough. I'm rather a nervous driver but she really puts you at ease. I've just passed my test first time - thanks Chris!

Would not recommend

We do not recommend Carr Control. Christine does not make the learner driver feel relaxed, confident or calm. In fact it's just the opposite. She seems more interested in what fits in best for her and whether you are going to make a block booking or not. It is as if she is doing you a huge favour! Learning to drive is stressful enough without the instructor making you feel more stressed and nervous. There are plenty of other instructors who have the ability to make the learner feel relaxed, confident and at ease. Christine is not one of them!

I've only just noticed this review. It's easy to post a bad review anonymously. I knew as soon as I read it who you are. Some people have no concept that instructors usually self employed also have to earn a living like everyone else. If all my pupils turned up for their lesson and put me on the spot wanting to change it to a shorter lesson than that arranged I would waste around 10 hours in a week hanging around between lessons unpaid. 1.5 hour lessons were agreed in advance and I had reserved a slot weeks in advance. If you had been considerate enough to advise me of your change of plan in advance you could have expected me to be more considerate. It was only at the end of the lesson when your daughter came to pay that I realised she meant she had only wanted a one hour lesson that day. She hadn't made it clear. I thought she meant from the next week so I apologised to you for the misunderstanding. Single lessons cost more than block ones - why would I only be interested in blocks?

Brilliant instructor!!

Christine was extremely patient, supportive and really helped build my driving confidence. Having already had previous driving tuition, I felt Christine really understood the areas that I needed help with and she taught me a great amount in a short space of time. Highly recommended!

Exceptional

I found Christine to be an exceptional driving instructor, she is patient, calm and put me at ease behind the wheel immediately. Chris not only ensured I was fully prepared for my driving test, but made sure I was able to drive well and with confidence. So it is thanks to Chris I passed first time. I will definitely be recommending Carr Control Driving School to anyone looking to learn how to drive. Not only have I gained a full license, I have also gained a great friend in Chris. Thanks for all your help.
