Worst fitters ive ever seen.

Non stop been lied to about the job

Lvt is awful had to be ripped up ( after waiting 3 months) for someone to turn up

Wrong underlay was used for carpet and they didnt even tell the customer tried to get away with it.

Do not use carpetright or their fitters

Especially tim from eighty eight flooring

I ordered a carpet paid and went home happy! Big mistake! Called store after not hearing anything for 3 wks after 5 days of calling store leaving messages I went to the store. Spoke with the manager and he re-ordered the carpet! Happy days I thought 1 1/2 hrs before it was due to be fitted I received a phone call the carpet was damaged so it couldn’t be laid! I was due to have a call from the store to tell me when I would now receive the 3rd carpet no call Monday Tuesday or Wednesday so I again went into store to be told my carpet was now in the store and would be fitted on Monday afternoon time is 20.19 and you guessed still no carpet!!

We ordered new carpets for two bedrooms and stairs/landing. The service was fantastic throughout. The chap in store took his time to show us the range and explain the differences between different carpets and underlays and clearly was very knowledgeable. We used their home measuring service which went smoothly, they arrived when stated and were courteous and friendly. The carpets arrived when we were told they would and the carpet fitters were ace. Very friendly and kept updating us with where they were up to and what was happening. Fitting took around 4ish hours but they didn't get in the way at all and worked around us and some other work we were having done in the house. Thank you for your help!

I ordered carpet pieces for whipping from Carpetrignt in Chippenham on the understanding these will be delivered the week before Christmas week and I was assured by the shop assistant. On the day of delivery, I was told that they don't have delivery service (for which I paid), only carpet fitters. Having waited in I was told that the fitter has gone off sick - an excuse used several times by Carpetright in an earlier purchase I made. It seems that:
1. Carpetright misinformed customers about their delivery service which they don't have;
2. Carpetright cannot deliver what they promise;
3. They are very quick at taking money (almost greedy as they tried to make me pay more after we agreed the price) but not so keen on delivering.
4. The manager tried to blame me for the inconvenience I got them into. This is the reason I write this complaint.
My advice is do not buy from Carpetright. If you know how or through what channels I can complain, please let me know. Thanks for reading.
