Welcome to Carpet Craft, My name is Darren and I have been involved in the carpet and flooring business in Chester Le Street, Durham, Washington and Sunderland ever since I left school in 1982. I spent some time working for a well respected carpet and furniture retailer before setting up my own business as a carpet contractor when I was in my early twenties covering Chester Le Street, Durham, Washington and Sunderland. Twenty years ago I earned the Master Fitter status with the National Institute of Carpet Fitters providing a master fitting service throughout the areas of Newcastle and Durham
