I have been teaching the Alexander Technique for 20 years.
It is a way of learning to release habitual patterns of tension that maybe creating pain or problems.
During lessons a teacher gives gentle manual guidance with verbal instruction to help students become aware of their own particular patterns of tension and how to deal with it for themselves.
