Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions and was the first complementary healthcare to be given statutory recognition by the UK government.
Osteopaths work with the structure and function of the body, based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments, nervous system and connective tissues functioning smoothly together; to maintain good nerve function and blood and lymphatic circulation.
To an osteopath, for your body to work well, its structure must also work well. So osteopaths work to restore your body to a state of balance, where possible without the use of drugs or surgery.
Carol has over 37 year experience working as an osteopath. Has also taught at both under graduate and post graduate levels.
Osteopathic treatment is suitable for all ages from babies to grandparents.
