My mam died 5 weeks ago in Nottingham,she already had a plan with another funeral director but I choose to move the plan to Carol, due to her excellent reputation & I had rang Carol at 10am to ask if she would kindly collect my mam at 5pm that day.
Carol ensured her professional dignified staff arrived at the arranged time despite a 300 mile drive at the drop of a hat.
I was able to follow my mam home & the staff ensured she was all settled in the chapel of rest and Carol was there waiting for mam even though it was 9pm. From start to finish the professional, caring service Carol & John provided was second to none and they made sure that mam had the very best send off with great attention to detail, the colours of the horses feathers matched our choosen funeral flowers. They even had private plates made with mams name on them, which was a lovely gesture. I would highly recommend this company as they are the best around & Exceeded our expectations in every aspect! I lost my mam in death on 3 January 2016 and had prepaid for a basic funeral at the local crematorium using Carol Finn Funeral Services based in Chester Road, Sunderland, mam had decided that I had to "shop around" so I did, telling her all the costs etc and choices she had. The funeral took place yesterday 12 January and everyone present were extremely impressed with the whole of the event. What impressed the family was the fantastic way "Andy" arranged and dealt with everything adding lots of personal touches to make my mams "send off" unique, I will highly recommend their services to any needing them.
