Carntyne Towbar Centre

Recently had a detachable towbar supplied and fitted to a new Ford Galaxy Hybrid. Fast appointment, very good quality fitting which works with the Ford info system so you get towing alerts, sensors switch off. Actually cheaper than all the other quotes I had but would recommend on the quality.

Picked up my Volvo V40 today having had a detachable Tow-bar fitted. Walking into the yard and I thought the work hadn’t been done…basically with the hook detached it is completely invisible ! Electrics fold up too. Brilliant job, great demo of how to use & warranty etc. Easy enough to take on and off etc. and good quality kit.
Detachable costs a bit more but definitely worth it.

Great service from these guys. My Seat Tarraco needed vehicle specific wiring to maintain warranty and after trying a few other well known and established places for a price and also discussing the wiring, I was given some poor advice. Ranging from unable to fit vehicle specific unless it’s factory fitted to no need for it and universal is all that can be used. The first thing Carntyne asked was what year the car was. When I told him 2020, he immediately stated that it would require the vehicle specific wiring and coded in to maintain my warranty, without me needing to bring this up. He gave me a price cheaper than I had already been quoted. Car was booked in the week after and job was done without issue. Would definitely recommend these guys.
