Welcome to Carmen’s cleans and property maintenance!

I started my company back in January 2020 just before the pandemic hit the nation and the world. I had just come back from travelling across Australia for 3 months and I wanted to set up a company I was proud of and could build over many years to come.

Having previously worked with different landlords in the Plymouth area I wanted to set up a company to offer cleaning services to all high-end accommodation landlords across the city. I knew the demand was there for a company to not just provide an excellent cleaning service but also a personable service with great communication and a serious eye for detail.

I started the company originally by working myself with a couple of self-employed local women. This gave me the chance to grow and take on some bigger contracts. Once I had a large and constant contract in place this allowed me the opportunity to take on a couple members of staff as full-time employees. This really gave me and the business a boost and allowed us to grow even more. The company now has 3 full-time and 1 part time members of staff along with me, the director.

Our professional standards are key to the business and we are regularly reviewing our policies, completing training and looking at the best way to clean! I am proud of what I have achieved so far and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for Plymouth’s high end clean team.
