Kind and caring with a tricky customer

The Vets, support team and receptionists were all brilliant during my Dogs recent surgery. He's a vocal Rottweiler who really does not like the vet, but everyone was so patient with him, weren't scared of his growls and grumbles, and were caring and lovely. I was worried about his procedure but felt like he was in good hands. Thank you everyone!

GO ELSE WHERE! OVER PRICED AND AMATEUR VETERINARIANS.

1
After a decade of visiting this place I am never going back. I spent £150 for an ear infection, stupidly over priced.. 5 minutes after leaving the vets I realised I already had one of the medications at home so I went to return it and they would not let me. They said ‘you might of tampered with it’ even though it was fully sealed AND I WAS ONLY BEEN GONE FOR 5 MINUTES!!!!

Not only this, since my dog has been going here since a puppy, it is rare that they even resolve any problems with my dog. He still has the same issue with his skin that they still haven’t solved or even diagnosed a decade later.

Sorry, but this place is awful and over priced. Never going back there again, you shouldn’t either.

Good price but our cat wasn't happy

1
Used the cattery twice. A good price for an overnight stay but each time we visited, the facility smelt of wet dog & urine. When we collected our cat after the first visit, he seemed traumatised We put it down to it being the first time he'd been away from home but the second time, he was worse. It may be due to business being a kennel as well as a cattery and it didn't suit our cat. It was also suggested by one of the receptionist's for us to find a home-sitter instead. Needless to say, we took our business & cat elswhere.

Disgraceful

2
I recently booked my old tyme bulldog to have an xray on her rear hind leg as she had been limping for sometime (this was after 3 previous visits to the vets for the same ailment). I took her in and left her with a vet whose English was not that good and found it difficult to understand him. When I rang the vets back later in the day to see how my girl was I was advised that unfortunately the xray machine had broken and they had not been able to completely xray her hind leg. The vet I spoke to on the phone again could not speak very good English and could not answer my questions. I was so angry and upset my husband had to pick our dog up and to this day we do not know what is wrong with her. I know that Tom is an excellent vet but it is nigh on impossible to get to see him without a 3/4 hour wait. I am at a loss as to what to do with my poor girl whose leg is getting worse. I can never get through to the vets on the phone and the reception staff need lessons in customer care.

Rude reception staff

1
All the reception staff need some training in customer service. Tom is fab when you finally get in to see him. Have been here 3 times, first appointment was 10am got to see tom at 1.30, next time 11am got in 12.30 and last time appointment 10am staff didn’t have me down for appointment and said will have to wait as don’t have an appointment which I actually did. Never answer phone for at least 25minutes really poor at looking after customers
