I had a classic car left at this garage while I was working away. I requested some work to be completed , service, MOT and a new soft roof. It was unfortunate that I was abroad at the time, I had constant bills, was even charged for staring the car. I asked if the car was covered , an excuse came back that it keeps blowing off, even thou it had straps and was a good quality cover, then it was torn so not worth putting on.
I had my suspicions that all is not well, so I flew over unannounced and to my astonishment saw my car in a terrible condition because it was left outside and not covered, the new roof was badly fitted, the garage blamed the car even thou the other torn roof operated perfectly.
Anyway I finally picked up the car and drove it back to Germany. then to my astonishment I looked at the MOT (Thaxted Tyre Services) and saw advisories , badly rusted this , badly rusted that, obviously some collusion with the garage to get more work. advise "keep an eye on this lot"
