Caritas Ceremonies

I live in Peterlee, County Durham and will be happy to conduct ceremonies across the region. I have attended professional training with The UK College of Celebrants. After thirty years in the NHS as a Nurse, Health Visitor and Community Health Specialist. I bring with me a wealth of experience of working within the public, private and voluntary sectors and most importantly - family. You can be assured of a professional service delivered in a supportive, sensitive and meaningful way. I will work closely with you to ensure your ceremony reflects you, your beliefs and what is important to you. I will support you through the process of finding the appropriate words, music and symbols that will reflect who you are and what you want to express. I will help you structure the ceremony so it flows in a meaningful way to you. I will do all that I can, to ensure your ceremony is calm and respectful and I will coordinate the contributions of other people. I am flexible and can help you create a ceremony which is entirely personal to you or one which has some traditional elements. Marking important times in our lives with a ceremony is a key part of our human experience. I will work closely with you to ensure your ceremony, whether it to be the celebration of a marriage, civil partnership, a vow renewal or of your commitment to one another, is everything you would want it to be. As these ceremonies are not part of the legal registration of a marriage or partnership they can be held just about anywhere. The club where you first met, on the beach or in the garden. Together we can explore the possibilities and I will support you to create the ceremony that reflects who you are as people and your commitment to each other.
