We bought a mobility scooter online from Careco but it did not suit our needs. Careco collected the scooter and refunded our money without question. We then visited the showroom in Cardiff and received outstanding service from Andrew Beacon to buy the correct scooter for us. In addition he provided excellent aftercare when we visited again and went through the assembly procedure which we were unsure of and provided a video in case we had any further issues. We are very happy indeed with Careco, Cardiff and would recommend it. Arthur & Kerrie Howes, Brecon

Had exemplary service from Andrew Beacon at the Cardiff branch of CareCo today. Although he was extremely busy, he took time to explain the benefits and disbenefits of various models, without any pressure. His advice convinced us which model was most suitable for my needs.

Showroom experience

I recently visited the showroom viewing a Riser Recliner and Minimus scooter and was assisted by Siobhan who was very helpful in explaining the working details of the above.As I am awaiting my plaster from my right hand to be taken off I will need time to consider the purchase of the Minimus scooter.

Terrible aftercare and misleading customers by only posting good product reviews

The staff are lovely but the aftercare is attrocious. I bought a reclining armchair which has had so many problems but they won't do anything as I didn't take out the expensive insurance. The heat function packed in, it doesn't sit up fully anymore, a hole appeared in the fabric within weeks, you can feel lumps in the seat and the quality is terrible. I have written a review twice for the product on their website as it is only fair that people know what they are buying and they haven't put the review up even though it meets all their guidelines. It is totally misleading people if they only put the good reviews up. I have spent a lot of money with them over the years but won't be going back or recommending them any more.
