What a Shame.

We had Carebrick put our damp course in, the man that did it was very professional cleaned and tidied up. We were told that in twelve months they would be back to see how things were, so I rang before the twelve months to fix a date for them to come, they said it’s a bit soon we will ring you…they did not ring, so I rang them a date was fixed and guess what they did not turn up even though they supposedly rang me to say they would not be coming. So I rang them, asking what was happening, after a lengthy conversation they said we will ring you with a date the week beginning 14 th of March and guess what they have not got in contact with me, I am only sorry that I recommend two people to have this done, when someone asks me now I said I shouldn’t bother not reliable, this is no reflection on the workman that did an excellent. Shame the staff in the office are not as good.

I had damp problems for a couple of years so when I looked up on and saw Carebrick I was feeling relieved that it might solve the issue of all the walls that are damp. I phoned them and when they came I thought that it would be a good decision that I had made...BUT I WAS WRONG. After 3 months we started to see that the living room wasn't having any improvements and then the dining room was starting the develop damp as well as my children's room. My children's room and the dining room was completely free of damp but after installing Carebrick damp started to come out of nowhere. I ignored it thinking it will go away but by 6 months the dampness in the house started to become more worse. We hadn't done any decorating of the house. So after 12 months I phoned the Carebrick but got no response out of them. I had also given them many emails but no reply came back to me. I am starting to think that this company is a FRAUD...

They nstalled my system over a year and they charged £2600.00, money well spent...WRONG. As soon as the decorator had put the first coat of paint on the damp was coming back through, so after 6 months phoned them, was told we shouldn’t have painted the house and should wait until the 12 month recheck, time came for the recheck and the house is covered in damp, but...it’s not their fault, it’s because we had our house re-rendered the week before they came to recheck-the vents were removed prior to rendering or else they would have been rendered over!! (even though I told them about the damp problem still being present 6 months previously), I even proved the point by showing the damp was in the internal walls which are chemically injected as opposed to the external walls which are vents. This was all agreed face to face, then in a written report a week later the company stated this was not their fault and they even revoked the warranty.

You had the Carebrick System installed. A System that relies only on natural airflow to work. You blocked the apertures of the System and therefore stopped it from working. You not only made the product ineffective but also by doing so breached the legal contract between us. Sadly, we have not heard from you following our recheck report which was sent on 22/11/2019 and in which we proposed we could rectify this for you be re-installing the System.
