10 Claude place is a filthy, poorly maintained property full of mice and a garden full of rubbish. Revolting carpets, blood stained mattresses and an odour which comes from years of neglect; it clearly hasn't seen paintbrush or a decent clean in years. The rooms are not checked or cleaned before new tenants move in so I spent the first couple of days taking the previous tenants rubbish to the tip and scrubbing the room from top to bottom. The landlords Nicholas and Jane come across as friendly but are completely disinterested and manage the house from afar. They use covid as an excuse for not getting the property cleaned between tenants when it is clear to anyone with eyes that much of the neglect pre-dates covid. Don’t believe the pictures on the website or the virtual viewings. The house looks bad, smells bad and anyone who has moved in is quickly looking to move out again.
