Perfectly cooked Indian cuisine from quality ingredients. Probably the best Indian food I have eaten in 35 years!

I have been eating "Indian" food for many years now and the Cardamom has by far, the best Indian food I have sampled in an Indian restaurant. The quality of the ingredients and attention to detail are stunning. Everything cooked perfectly, just the right amount of oil, subtle tastes and beautiful presentation. All of the staff work hard to keep up the high standard.
I would recommend this one to anybody.

While the restaurant is somewhat unassuming from the exterior, don't let this fool you into believing it's second rate. The food in this establishment is easily some of the best (if not the best, in my humble opinion) Indian food I have had in the UK (possibly the world, even).

Not too oily or with too much chilly... All the dishes are cooked to perfection here.

It is said that the people from Bangladesh are the best Indian cooks... And it certainly proves true here. A restaurant who's proprietor is from Bangladesh himself, I can safely and heartily recommend this restaurant to any Indian cuisine fan.

Just bear in mind... If you like a stupidly hot curry that kills your insides, this might not be the restaurant for you. Here they focus on subtlety of flavour and spices that blend to perfection.

Certainly the ambience is nice... But it's not amazing. Saying that, I go here for the food and not the building.
