An excellent job

Caledonian Lock did an excellent job on our front door. They replaced all the locks, letter box, door handle and spy hole. This wasn’t an easy job because of the previous owner’s cheap fixings which had to be tidied up before the new ones could be fitted. In the shop itself I was given very good advice about what to choose and the engineer turned up in time as promised. I heartily recommend Caledonian Locks and will use them again.

3 British Standard Euro Locks fitted to Victorian wooden doors - Good service, well fitted

I got 3 British Standard Euro Locks fitted (2 mortice locks and one night latch) to my Victorian wooden doors (main door and double-wing storm doors), all in brass. The locks are solid and look fantastic and greatly engance my door's security and also the look. The service was great and the company's own carpenter fitted the locks well. I did notice that on fitting and adjusting the existing mortice the craftmanship was a bit rough as he did not use the perfect tools to cut/extend the mortice, thus the mortice wasn't cut as precise as the mortice on the previous lock, but this is not visible once fitted. Good service, tidied up nicely after. The service isn't cheap, but I'm happy with the result as the locks are close and work perfectly.

Professional service

Contacted Caledonian Lock & Safe recently regarding broken lock. Friendly and helpful service over the phone, I was able to send them photos of the lock in question so they could assess the likely problem and ensure the locksmith had appropriate parts with him. Locksmith arrived on time as arranged. Friendly chap was very knowledgeable and professional and repair was carried out quickly. Parts and labour prices were fair.
