The Face Behind The Cakes...

Hello, my name is Anthony.

In 2019, I started Caked Up and at the end of February 2020, I opened up a little shop in Coleford, in the Forest of Dean, to continue spreading smiles and the joy that only a special cake can...

I've always enjoyed cooking and baking, and as a teenager, dreamed of opening a bakery one day, and so I followed a career in accounting...

After being made redundant in 2009, I decided to follow my dream of cake making and decorating and have been creating fun and exciting cakes for friends and colleagues over the last 10 years - learning something new with each cake.

I have achieved a COMMENDED award at the Cake International Virtual Cake Competition in November 2020, which has been the highlight of what has been a very difficult year.

I look forward to hearing from you and sharing your ideas and then turning your thoughts to cake..

Best cakes in town

The cakes are excellent whichever size you have, the service is excellent and Anthony will go the extra mile to help if possible, he made a beautiful Pokemon cake at short notice (10days) for us. The Xmas cake was all eaten this year unlike other years when it is thrown away (supermarket cake).

Caked Up is a very talented business who makes delicious cakes and cookies which are beautifully decorated. Highly recommend the speciality cakes - in fact all the cakes are scrummy! 😋

I've tasted lots of cakes from many places, sometimes it has been a case of gloss and no substance, not the with Caked up, every cake looks delicious and taste delicious.

I asked for a certain style of cake and the result was even better than I’d hoped for! My family loved the cake and it was a wonderful centrepiece for the Birthday celebrations 🥳
