With over 30 years sugar experience, Cake Matters creates, designs, decorates unique & bespoke cakes, helping clients to design the cake of their dreams for their special occasion. The premises have been checked by environmental health, & the friendly professional service meets the highest standards at fair prices. We take a pride in ensuring your cake enhances your celebrations and tastes great!

Featuring cakes, cake toppers & models for any occasion. Our creations are designed to suit your individual requirements matching any theme, colour, flowers, models or even invitations. The cakes are baked fresh to order, in a variety of tasty flavours & recipes to suit dietary needs. We also hire a variety of knives & stands.

Carolyn Harvey is a British Sugarcraft Guild accredited demonstrator & teaches sugarcraft across the UK & abroad. She has received several awards for her wedding cakes, sugar flowers, models & cake toppers. She was delighted to work on the Skoda car advert and the Peek Freans replica Queens Wedding Cake. Courses are available too.

I asked Carolyn if she could make 60 cupcakes to celebrate 4 birthdays. She interpreted my needs exactly and not only did they look wonderful (with different themes) they tasted lovely as well. Highly recommend.

I just want to say a huge thank you for making such a beautiful cake for my daughter's 30th birthday party. We had an idea which you turned into reality ! My daughter was overwhelmed when she saw it , as were all the guests. The attention to detail and intricate design was absolute perfection .The three tiers, in different flavours, were all delicious, though I felt it was a pity to cut into it.

I was looking for a cake for my husbands 40th birthday. I looked at a few in the local area and asked for quotes. Cake Matters was very professional and thorough with their quotes. Not the cheapest I found but you get what you pay for. After agreeing a price and details I was impressed with all the communication. It certainly put my mind to rest. The day of the party we were in constant contact and everything went smoothly. The cake looked and tasted amazing. It also came in under budget!!
