The Cabinet Supplies is a family run business that has passed through three generations. We are now celebrating 85 years of providing the local community with all of their hardware needs.
We are a hardware store based in Union Street, Plymouth, and have been open since 1928 when Wolfe Sterne, originally from Wales, decided against his plan of immigrating to America and chose to set up his own business instead.
Wolfe's grandson Dave Sterne, aged 53, now runs the shop after taking over from his father Maurice. Nephew Chris Braine, aged 28, also works in the shop and is the fourth generation of the family employed there.
