Cab Call

Had to get from a Pilates class in Southchurch to an X-ray the hospital within 20 minutes and didn’t want to rely on finding parking for my own car. Early this morning I booked a cab (on line) for 6.30 pm. It didn’t turn up, no text message to say why of course. So I had to hurry back home, jump in the car, drive to the hospital, park ( fortunately found a space quickly) and made the appointment with 10 seconds to spare. Not good enough Cabcall!

Terrible. I booked a large cab for 5 adults at least 6 hours in advance of our outward journey only to find out that one was not available when they arrived 10 minutes late. This was very inconvenient. On the return journey, the cab driver turned up 10 minutes earlier than my booking and refused to wait until the time that he was actually booked! He was very rude. I will not use this company again.

We pre-booked a return cab a day in advance. The first cab was 30 minutes late. Then they cancelled the return when we were at the event. Hung up on our calls when we tried to call. Avoid this cab company.

We booked a cab for 2.30 on Sunday afternoon, the day before on the app as the app advertises a reliable service. At 2.45 the app was still showing awaiting dispatch. When we rang they said “unfortunately when you book on the app we try to get a cab as near to the time as you booked it’s not guaranteed and unfortunately there are no cabs in the area” (5 minutes away from Rayleigh) I said that we were relying on this cab and were led to believe that you offered a reliable service and surely the decent thing to do, would have been to let us know that they weren’t coming to give us a chance to sort something else out, but they said “unfortunately we don’t do that”

Do yourselves a favour and give this company a swerve. They are too comfortable with letting their customers down and the app leads you to believe it’s a professional company when actually they can’t be trusted to do what they say they will do and they don’t even care that they’ve caused you a problem

Tell you to book on the app to have a hassle free taxi journey without waiting, yet you book on the app and then ring to find out where your taxi is after 1 hour late and they said that ‘bookings mean nothing’ what’s the point of having an app and asking people to book?

Appalling service!

Wouldn’t recommend using.
