My name is Asum and I have been in the care environment for over four years.
I have worked with many people who require support with their conditions such as autism, Down syndrome, dementia and general care home assistance such as feeding, personal care to just being a friendly person to talk to.
Working for C4 is just amazing. Not only do they provide training and online courses to help me become a better carer, they have dedicated staff who are only one phone call away when I need them, 24 hours a day.
My day to day duties include helping a young person become more independent with cooking, cleaning, reading and general life skills as he has limited capacity. I also work in different care home settings and helping people with many aspects of personal care to walks in the park.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenge for many carers and people in care. It has limited human interaction between carer and people who need care. I got vaccinated earlier this year as a precaution.

I have just recently done an induction with this company and after not knowing much about the caring / recruitment world they have taught me all they know to help me out personally and made me feel fully welcome and a part of their little working family. You can clearly see and hear off all the staff that they have the full interest in helping each and every person they come across in every which way they possibly can. Everyone here is super helpful and fully committed to get the job done quickly and efficiently to way that is fair and professional. This is a great company who strive to always give great service and are always looking to learn and make changes to make things better for any clients experience in any possible way. All staff are happy and helpful and it shows that they love what they do because its always done to the best possible standard.
