Very prompt to come and see my boiler but after that didnt want to knowe kept robbing me off with pathetic excuses not a patch on the service his father supplied would not recomend

I cannot recommend this plumber. His timekeeping wasnt good. His diagnostic skills seemed very poor. Initially he assumed our boiler needed a new pump then decided not and thankfully put the old one back in. Replaced some electricals which I doubt needed replacing and then put in a new rubber diaphragm which didn't solve the problem. His further plan was to replace the part completely and if that didn't work we would need a new boiler. Thankfully we decided to cut our losses at that point and get in another plumber who was able to fix it in less than half an hour. Turns out the diaphragm was the wrong one for the part and had been jammed in badly causing problems. Also some washers were missing and connections had not been tightened properly and boiler was leaking where it wasn't before. An expensive mistake for us as we had paid two hours labour. C D Beynon told us subsequently that he was about to attend further training on Baxi boilers so hopefully his knowledge is now better.
