Bygone Lighting

I bring antique lighting all the way from Nottingham to be cleaned, lacquered and wired by Alan. The fact that I'm happy to travel all that way should tell you all you need to know about the quality of his work and service!

I purchased a victorian gasolier 5 years ago on ebay, every company i approached told me that the only to electrify this was to run double insulated cables on the outside of the chandelier with a plastic junction box at the top, which was just unacceptable! These boys cut it all up, drilled it all out, added a section of machined brass to take all the wiring, welded all back together (i cant even notice were this has been done) re-polished and lacquered it. Totally outstanding workmanship! The only downside is that they are busy and i did have to wait 3 weeks,but they do use traditional methods and every aspect of the job was top quality (which i asked for)
