DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

I had the misfortune to buy from these. Like many i trawled over the internet to get a good deal. What i hadn't realised is that are agents!They don't hold stock or know anything about the products they sell. They facilitate a deal between you and the manufacturer and make a margin doing so. This is fine when it all goes to plan! unfortunately when it doesn't you find out what they are really like. I called after 28 days of waiting. The manufacturer is running late i was told. It's nothing to do with us its down to Yardmaster, they're making it. I'm your customer! You took my money and in return i expect what i paid for in the time advertised. It eventually arrived almost 2 weeks late. I had to make additional arrangements with the guy i had hired to put it up which left me out of pocket. The moral is, although you might save a couple of quid using these you are taking a gamble. in hindsight I wished i went to the a shop and spoke to a competent company who would treat me properly

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!

I ordered the Oren 8'x6' octagonal summer house (at a cost of £1,900) and booked a local man to lay erect it. Despite there having been no indication that the company was having problems meeting its promised delivery dates, our delivery was cancelled and re-booked twice. Each time, the notification of cancellation came so late that our local chap had turned up and had to be sent away. Naturally, we felt obliged to pay him anyway. When, weeks later, the summer house eventually arrived, half the components were missing and the instructions enclosed were for a rectangular shed. The two doors were warped and had to be planed to fit. No apology, just brusque e-mail responses were received. If you're foolish enough to buy one of these, you'll need 4 people to safely put the heavy roof on, and the finials must be affixed FIRST whilst 2 people hold the roof on its side on the ground and a third drills and fixes the finials. No beading is supplied for fixing polycarbonate glazing.

Poor quality materials

You get what you pay for! Although £575 isn’t cheap I must say but my shed is just over 16 months old and the roof need replacing already! Long story short the felt is extremely poor quality and has been leaking for god knows how long. My roof needs replacing as the wood is soaking wet, covered in mould and the back corner floor is also wet. The roof is now sagging and the timber supports are now bowing and the entire roof and contents are mouldy. I’d advise anyone buying one to think twice or if you do buy one the go out and buy some top quality roofing material.

I fitted guttering when I first had the shed to help keep water away which is a good thing else it would only have been worse. It is going to cost me around £120 to paint the roof to seal it until spring then it will have to be stripped and rebuilt to who knows what expense.

Think twice about buying, mine was a ship lap Apex roof shed.
