The Bull Inn

This is a great traditional pub that does really good home cooked food. It is frequented by all sorts, from business men, students, locals and passers by. It has just one big long narrow bar. The prices are very reasonable and service is quick and efficient. It doesn't matter how busy it is, the bar man or bar maid will always deal with you each in turn. This a very traditional pub in style and so the toilets are not the most up to date. They are a bit of a tight squeeze, but are spotlessly clean. Up the back there a couple of snug like areas where you can gather with a few friends in realtive privacy. The pub has an excellent selection of beers and malt whiskies.

As traditional as it gets

I like the Bull Inn, a really good traditional pub in Paisley. Attracts a good mix of people and is a really friendly pub with a good mix of beers and real ales.

It is on New Street right in the town centre and a stones throw from the Paisley Centre and the University. The pub is in a lovely listed sandstone tenement and has a superb traditional frontage.

Inside it has a bar area with seats, a real fireplace and several booths where you can sit. The bar area has a bif projector for sport and each of the booths has small LCD TV in it for watching.

They do food which is decent, and not bad for the money.

Discounts are available to St Mirren season ticket holders and it is a St Mirren friendly pub so gets busy before and after matches.
