Business overview

Hands-on, common sense and cooperative approach to the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions and associated pain syndromes. Integrative and evidence-informed therapy.

Bruntsfield Chiropractic Clinic is a small and independent clinic and as such unencumbered by overbearing and restrictive management protocol.

Operating since April 2010, the clinic is gathering momentum, largely based on "word of mouth" patient referrals.

Here, the emphasis of care lies in allowing patients to make informed choices and have a say about the nature and duration of the treatment they may experience or undergo.

Following graduation in 1999, Richard Gassert DC has worked as an associate in the Scottish Borders (Melrose) and latterly in Haymarket, Edinburgh until setting up his own clinic in the suburb of Bruntsfield.

We treat a wide variety of musculoskeletally-based conditions; ranging diversely from sports-induced trauma to office-based repetitive strain syndromes. Advice on lifestyle, ergonomics, nutrition and rehabilitative exercise are naturally part of the process.

Very satisfied customer

Now 83 I had a major spine op.aged 16. Since then someone who could occasionally straighten my back has been essential. I had some 10 osteopaths or chiropractors over the years and have been seeing Richard Gassert for over seven years. I find him the best I have come across - his hands inspire confidence, they are firm but gentle and always seem to do something that feels right. He is very open in explaining what he is going to do and there are never any unwelcome jerks or pressures. His advice on any related aspects of health or exercise are thoughtul and very helpful. The clinic itself has a good welcoming feel

I have sent two friends to him both of whom were used to chiropractic and osteopathy and both were very impressed and satisfied. One was a visitor, the other has become a client.
