At Brunel Funeral Directors, we are one of Bristol's leading truly independent funeral directors. We offer the chance to come in, meet us, have a chat about your situation and requirements.

We'll sit and discuss with you all your choices and options explain anything you don't fully understand. You can then go away, chat with your family and make the right choice on which funeral director you would like to use. We don't commit you and we won't charge you for this.

About Us – We are a truly small team that take on all roles. You We like to think we are a little different than many other funeral homes, we won’t rush our families, giving you the time you need. Each family is different, and will need different choices and options. We will spend time with you going through what you would like to have. We of course, offer support to our families for as long as is needed after the funeral has taken place.

We have a new, modern and contemporary funeral home which is bright and welcoming offering full facilities. We offer a 24hr service, 7 days a week. If you are unable to come to the office, we are available to meet with you at your home at a time to suit you. We offer full services which include, flowers, jewellery and keepsakes, masonry, printing services.

I would just like to say what fantastic service we had from this company. From start to finish with all aspects we were kept informed and guided throughout our journey by Craig who was affectionate, informative, & efficient, Most of all Lara who gave the speech to our mothers service at Bedminster down was praised by everyone for such a lovely service. I would definitely recommend Brunel funeral directors.

Cremation Service

Louise and the team gave an excellent service from start to finish for the cremation of our Mother. They took into consideration the special needs of one of the family members and nothing was too much trouble. We knew at each stage exactly what was happening and they answered all our questions clearly and concisely at such a difficult time.

Outstanding and compassionate service from Chris , Louise and Jane at Brunel , Talked through every detail and made the process of organising a beautiful service trouble free. The person care they show is second to none, so nice to be made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. I would most certainly recommend Brunel especially if you want that " personal touch"

With the covid situation as it was, I knew mum's funeral would be somewhat difficult, but NO. The team at Brunel were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Service was good, event to the extent of putting Mum's little dog in the back of the hearse to have a last photo with Mum. I buried my brother with a large company in Westbury on trym in 2018. Brunel did a much better service with a very competative price. Thanks again

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Louise, Chris and Craig. Being so young and losing our mum we didn't know where to begin with arranging a funeral, however everyone at Brunel made this very difficult time a whole lot easier. Everything from start to finish has been fantastic. We really wanted this to be a celebration of mum's life and they really did help us to achieve this. A massive thank you again and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who has lost a loved one.
