About Us

How we started…

Selfie nail & beauty bar was born out of sheer determination and hardwork. Founder Linh Nhi, began as a self-employed nail technician and a brow & lash therapist under the name, ‘Brows & Lashes’. The next two years saw her popularity and clientele grow exponentially prompting her to take a leap of faith and open a salon on Finchley Road called Brows & Lashes.

Due to huge demand for extra services like nails, facials and waxing, Linh Nhi decided to rebrand her business to what it is now, ‘Selfie nail & beauty bar’. The rebrand saw the salon expand from two rooms to four including 4 nail stations, 3 luxury pedicure chairs and a make-up/threading station.

Horrible Service!

Very disappointed about this business. I was going to this place for about 5 months and I was happy with the service until the last 3- 4 times the quality of the service went down so bad. Never accept promotions or deals cause they will always find the way to charge you the full price saying that they had to use extra material or time. When I got a deal with the owner she was always interrupting my services to serve a customer who would pay full price making me wait in the waiting room 1-2 hours at least. Be ready to have some snaps of your face so they can upload the pictures on the social media writing their own reviews. Last time I asked directly the owner Linh Nhi to remove my pictures on Instagram cause they just use them to make the brand look very professional when they are not and she didn't do it until I had to contact Instagram directly and they did it for me. For these and other reasons I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!

Linh is the best.

I have had my eyelashes done many times past 5 years but only Linh at brows and lashes (now selfie nail beauty bar) got them the way I like. I have had them done by other technician Victoria. She is very lovely but I personally prefer Linh as she is not only very sweet but so fast. She got my lashes done within an hour meanwhile still talking to me and other clients. I don't really know how she does them but I was a bit suspicious to receive a full set of eyelashes within an hour. 4 weeks later I still have more than half set left and they are comfortable, beautiful. I don't need to recommend to people as I got so many compliments! I believe Linh doesn't take any new clients unless it's a recommendations which says it all - she is extremely popular and skillful. She is also quite pricey (I paid £120 for volume eyelashes) but it is worth every penny. I can't comment on any other treatments as I do not get my nails done but I might give a try to their facials.

The best eyelash place and now nails too!

I've been coming to brows and lashes since they opened in June and recently received they are expanded so decided to check. My lady who did my nails Tina was excellent. I was a big suspicious about non-asian girl doing my nails but she was very fast, precise and most of all made me feel at easy. Then I got my eyelashes infilled as usual my lovely Linh. She is the sweetest and most hardworking woman I've ever met. Not only she was doing my lashes but she made sure each client is happy with the treatment. Highly recommend this salon, she did an amazing job with it and book in advance before it will be impossible to get an appointment (they already seem extremely busy!). Oh and they take card payments which is 👍

Amazing service!

I have been going to Brows & Lashes for quite a few months now and I can’t imagine now going anywhere else! Both Linh and Victoria are amazing at what they do, I have gone nearly 4 weeks before getting infills as they still looked so amazing. They take really good care of your lashes and always make sure you are really happy with them and that they are healthy. I could not recommend them more, and will hopefully get my eyebrows done there eventually too! Thank you both ladies :)
