Broomhead Plumbing

Despite waiting in all morning after booking an appointment, no one turned up. I called up to check if there was a delay, the lady who then answered wasn't particularly helpful. Took my details down wrong initially, rudely said 'we don't cover that postcode'. I repeated the address to correct her and she double checked the system again. Then told me they only had one van out on the road today (03/05/24) and that there was no jobs booked in for our address. She sarcastically asked if I was sure I'd called the right place, so I checked my call log. I called her back after checking it and confirmed it was definitely the same company I'd called last week to book and, that in fact the person I'd spoken to at the time of booking on 29/04/24 had actually even called me back to confirm my email address. She didn't apologise, not did she offer to make an alternative appointment. Won't be considering them again.

We waited in all afternoon as instructed and the plumber didn't come. Obviously there could be a valid reason but despite taking our mobile phone number and email address, we were not contacted with any explanation. Not very professional.

We have been using Broomhead Plumbing for nearly 30 years for a range of small one-off plumbing repairs to whole bathrooom refurbishments and have always been really pleased with the quality of the work, the neatness of the work and also how friendly, professional and helpful all the members of stuff are. I'd be happy to recommend Broomhead Plumbing to anyone.

Have been using Broomhead Plumbing for 10y or so. Always brilliant. Clearly know their stuff. Quick to respond. Leave little to no mess. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

This morning (10 January 22) we noticed water running own the kitchen wall from the coving. I rang Broomhead's for help. Whilst extremely busy and plumbers on holiday and nobody available until Wednesday, they said that they would attempt to get a plumber to me. Within half an hour, John arrived. It was quite a difficult job requiring cutting into the kitchen ceiling but the job was completed within the hour. What fantastic service. You can imagine the mess we would have been in without Broomhead's speedy help.
