Useless removal men lose BHF an expensive dining room suite

1
I told them that I had a dining room suite to donate, in excellent condition, but it was heavy and needed to be collected from a first floor flat. The contractors were very reluctant to move the furniture, said the table needed to be de-assembled and they weren't going to do it (health and safety). They left having been most unhelpful.

Two hours later I got "man with a van on the move" to do the job. They were polite, they de-assem bled the table by removing 4 screws only, they persevered in removing the heavy furniture and charged me nothing, as I gave them the dining room suite, part of which they donate to an Autism Awareness charity.

Strongly suggest BHF change the removal men they contract out to!

Very disappointed

1
Terrible customer service! The team in Croydon need to know what Charity really actually means! Rude & helpful, arranged for a collection from my house & you would think they were actually doing me a favour??? Shame this charity is one I donate to but disappointment at the service provided at the Croydon branch. I will never donate to this branch again !!!!
