Business overview

Our practice health plan provides top quality preventative health care for adult pets at an affordable monthly fee.

The practice was established in 1987 in Newbridge and originally started as a mixed practice treating pet animals, farm animals and horses.

In 2000 we relocated to our main premises at Bridge Vet Centre and decided to specialize in treating pet animals.

We have a team of veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and support staff dedicated to serving you and your pets in a caring environment.

We have invested in the best modern equipment and facilities to provide care right from routine vaccinations and neutering through to complex medical and surgical procedures .

The practice is a nurse training centre and is RCVS accredited.

Not What It Was

2
We have used this practice for many years and have found them to be excellent in the past. We have three cats and two dogs so I would consider that we have been good customers. It is with great regret, therefore, that I have to report that the attitude towards customers has declined markedly over the last year. This was so even before Covid. The problem seems to lie mainly with the administrative side as the vets themselves continue to be excellent when one is able to contact them directly without the filter of the unqualified reception staff.
After much thought, and with considerable dismay, we are now leaving this practice.

Professional Service

Used this Practice for around 15 years. Always very professional service and knowledgable staff. Very considerate when I had to euthanise one of my dogs recently. Not cheap but as usual you get the service you pay for.

Appalling experience

1
My 11 year old dog recently passed away. We took her to the vets to be seen urgently and the young woman who we never had before explained how she’s not in any worry that our dog was in pain or in any discomfort. After charging us with a 260 pound bill with flea and deworming tablets (which was not needed what so ever), we are deeply saddened to say that our dog died two days later. Myself and the family are completely heartbroken and appalled on how the situation was dealt with, we have been going to the vets for years and this has let us down tremendously. We will not recommend this vet to anyone in the future as it did not help our dog what so ever as there was clearly something wrong with her that was not identified professionally.
