Patricia Melgar carries the art of fashion in her blood, is able to understand the importance of making a gown to suit "you " your style, shape and the occasion.

Patricia Melgar started her fashion career when she was in her teens, first taught by her creative mother who introduced her to Haute Couture back in the mid 80s.

She started working in the world of haute couture at the age of 17, with Victor Edelstein Fashion designer. This where she started hand finishing, a year later went onto making beautiful gowns for their elite clientele such as The late princess Diana, princess Michael of Kent and many more elegant ladies.

It was the beauty of the fabrics, the flows of fine silks that inspired Patricia to stay and explore the elegance of haute couture , apart from the pride and accuracy she mastered working at the top end of haute couture.

She quotes "It's the ample amount of experience working for so many talented fashion designers, that has enabled me to understand the movement and the beauty of a garment.

Extremely happy with this Seamstress ( Patricia ), I had given her my designs and ideas and she carefully planed and drew out my ideas , We together choose the fabrics and She gave me plenty of ideas on what would look and feel great.
The fit of my dress was perfect. Made to measure as I am rather short , but yet she made my dress in such a way it gave me height ! .
I bought pieces to add to the dress at a later stage and she was able to make changes and additions along the way.
I cant express enough how happy I was with the final product
Patricia has gone above and beyond to create the exact design I had in my head.
