Brian Cochrans Driving School Pontypridd

I recently moved to the UK from the US and knew I wanted to get my license as soon as I could. I had been driving for 14 years but stuck in my old habits and needed to learn the rules of UK roads. I took 4 lessons with Brian and I learned so much each time. He is calm, professional, and puts you at ease. He was great at pinpointing my strengths and weaknesses and gave me the confidence I needed to pass my driving test on the first time with one minor. So incredibly happy to have had lessons with him and a little sad that they're over! Thanks so much Brian!!!

Passed first time with the help of Brian. He is so patient (he needed to be with me), he genuinely wants you to pass as soon as it’s possible & knows exactly how to teach you so you don’t pick up bad habits (he had to give me a few little rows) but it certainly paid off during my test. with a first time pass & only 2 minors after 6 months of lessons (usually an hour a week) I think he should also be a magician, considering I’m 31yrs old, never driven & couldn’t even get out of the car park on my first lesson I never thought I’d have a license. Thank you so much to Brian & good luck to anyone who chooses him as their instructor, you’re in very capable hands. 😊

I have had a rough history with driving instructors; my first instructor led me on for months, and I niavely didn't question their lack of progress with me. After about 7 months of realizing I was getting nowhere (told you I was niave...) I swapped to a second instructor. This one did more or less the same, upped their price when they found out I had a new job, stared at their phone the whole time, and led me on just to get money out of me.

Fed up and completely discouraged after a long journey that led me nowhere, I decided to give it one more go. I foud Brian online, and from day one I felt I finally had an instructor that was more concerned with helping me pass, than just take my money and be done with it.

He was extremely clear in his instructions, very focused on any bad habits I'd developed, and even encouraged me to keep a journal (a folder he offers filled with tips and hints which I found fantastic and helpful). Thank you so much for helping me pass, Bri.

I had six weeks for my retest and asked Brian to Help me out. after one lesson he took a week off (I understand everyone Has to have a holiday) but the week after he wasn't available , and then when I was finally able to book him in for a lesson he turned up 40mins early when I was on my way home from work. I got home 5 mins before the agreed time of the lesson. it was only then Brian decided to tell me he dose not like working evenings and so I should find another instructor. Three weeks wasted I have had a hard time finding another instructor and so I am now forced to postpone my test... Thanks mate.
