Lettings department

Always friendly and attentive. However the lettings department was not helpful for me, my flat was trashed by the tenant and I have had to sell it due to the financial cost of the refurb.

Abstain from using! Constant exhausting chasing to get a straight answer.

Abstain from using! Appalling! Constant chasing to get an straight answer, really bad experience with the management of my property! E-mail warriors, never pick up the phone and rang. I knew more about my tenants and issues that Bowes Mitchell letting department in Four Lane Ends! I would defo NOT recommend this state agent.

AVOID at all costs - shoddy outfit

Do not use. They outsource any work required on managed properties to unqualified contractors and then do everything they can to avoid any sort of liability for the mess left behind. Do not care about either the tenant or landlords interests. Happy to take your money but refuse to take any kind of responsibility. Probably the worst I've come across in 20+ years of renting.

This branch is let down by a two-faced, nasty, vindictive woman who can't be honest or accurate to your face but loves to twist the knife in, outright lie when the tenant is not about. Try and make sure the central heating is working mid-winter when a new tenant moves in and stop allowing the property owner to blame the tenant for breaking the central heating when I never did anything but turn the dial to try and get it to work. This company also allows the rental property owners to send unqualified handymen to carry out gas appliance repairs when it is illegal to do, not just once but 4 times and the branch was notified so there is no excuse. The one star is the lowest rating allowed so I will designate that to the man who briefly worked there who was good enough to open the door for me at the branch as I was struggling with it the day I handed my keys in.
