Was looking to replace an old Chubb mortice lock that had seized up and required another locksmith to come out and unlock my door. The chap at Bowden said my lock was fine internally and just needed to replace a small component that guides the key into the lock as it was badly worn. A new lock would have cost £78 so he saved me a considerable sum and deserves praise for not simply throwing away a perfectly good lock and selling a new one. He also stayed open beyond his closing time to repair my old lock. Real service from someone who knew what he was talking about and very honest trader. Thank you for and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Being based 200 miles away in Cornwall, I obviously have to rely on suppliers/contractors when there is a problem in any of our tenanted houses in Bristol
