Bourne Vale Stables is a fantastic place and I have continued to ride there for over 20 years. The horses and ponies are incredibly well cared for and and the instructors tailor lessons and activities and explain how these will help you to improve your riding. Riders are shown ground skills so that they can lead, mount and untack their horse so they have the confidence to handle the horses safely and the staff are always happy to share their experience and knowledge. Their commitment to horse welfare and teaching all aspects of horsemanship is outstanding and shows in the happy horses and ponies who are carefully matched to riders abilities. Bourne Vale is definitely the riding school to go to!

Really good yard, staff are really positive and helpful in the lessons so I feel encouraged as I progress in my riding ability. Would highly recommend.

The riding school teacher… she clearly has no concept of customer service and we will definitely not be going back.

Definitely the place to go for quality tuition & a range of well cared for horses and ponies

Bourne Vale Stables is both an amazing & beautiful place to learn not only how to ride but what is involved in caring for horses too. All staff are extremely knowledgeable & friendly and the horses & ponies are so well cared for. I’ve learned so much in the last 9 years and am still learning now thanks to the range of activities and opportunities provided. Bourne Vale is the place to learn, well in my opinion anyways!

Best place

The best place to learn and enjoy horse riding. Excellent horses, ponies, facilities and staff. I have ridden here for nearly 30 years. My son rides now and been going for 8 months now. So many wonderful events to do. Alex just done his first pony party. So much fun and learnt things to. Usually when I ask him what he has done, he responds "don't know" but today he would not stop talking. Loved it.
They do so much: dressage competitions, demos, talks
