If you have a Swallow (GB) Ltd Rook Potting Shed with guttering fitted, check its ability to collect and remove rainwater.

I purchased one from Bourne Buildings, Farnham, Surrey, but within days, during moderate rainfall, water spilled over the rear the guttering and down the rear wooden wall panels.

Swallow have investigated but now say there is no problem. However, they visited site three times, experimenting with a different solution.
Despite Swallow seeing the problem for themselves, they have now walked away from the situation having provided a very untidy and unsatisfactory temporary solution. Pictures available.

Why put this amount of effort into solving a problem that does not exist!!

If you have the same model of Potting Shed, then presumably, the same problem exists. You will also need your supplier to come up with a fix.

We just need Swallow (GB) Ltd) to act responsibly and design or engineer a proper long term remedy, for the benefit of ALL.

We visited Bourne Buildings at the end of lockdown to look at Greenhouses. They have an excellent selection of garden Buildings etc on display. They were very helpful and their prices are very competitive. We ordered an Elite greenhouse and used their recommended installer to installed it on our prepared base. The installer was very good, providing advice on the location of the vents etc and left no mess when he left. As our base was using gravel filled plastic interlocking mesh he installed the precast slab pads in the he locations he required while he carried out other assembly works. He did an excellent job of installing the greenhouse within 1 day even though we had heavy showers.

Pricing was competitive and service first rate right through from ordering to arrangements made for disposal of old greenhouse, preparing of base work and erection of the new greenhouse. I had the pleasure of buying a greenhouse from Bourne Buildings this spring. All of their staff are incredibly knowledgeable and know their products inside out as well as being very competitive on pricing. They gave me detailed instructions on how to erect the greenhouse and when I subsequently had an issue with some broken glass (my fault, not theirs), they assisted me with sorting it out very quickly and efficiently. Cannot recommend Bourne Buildings and their friendly team enough.
