How to spend the best part of half an hour just being patient someone will attend to you eventually.

I have Just tried to phone the pharmacy to cancel Winter flu Jab (Which couldn't be done before the end of October) because another Pharmacy can do it next week. The phone rings until it cuts out and there is no way to leave a recorded message. This is the third attempt I have made to enable them to put someone else into the slot. Incidentally, when I went in to book originally, I was the only customer and it took 25 Minutes including the time they busied themselves with other things while I stood waiting for their attention.
