I contacted this company based on the 5 star reviews I read here. Although I am just a bedroom guitarist and not a professional, I was pleasantly surprised to receive the level of service they afford to professionals. Collection and delivery of my guitar, in a socially distanced manner, was offered and it was clear from the outset that these are the people you want looking after your instruments. My guitar needed work to the electrics and a small cosmetic repair. At all times I was kept up to date with what was happening and I am delighted with the results. I will definitely be taking all my stuff to them in the future and I am telling all my family members to do the same.

I recently found Steve’s services on yell, and now I honestly can’t recommend Steve highly enough, for his workmanship and skills in the guitar service/setup/repair department.
He recently did a setup and changed the bridge on a Jazzmaster for me, but not only that, he drove from Kent to East London, took it back to his workshop, to do it. He then drove the guitar back, setup and fixed, one week later, for a very reasonable price!
So I’ll soon be booking my beloved US Tele in for a long needed service, then who knows, maybe my 1967 Epiphone Casino and I usually wouldn’t let anyone touch that guitar, let alone service it!
With Steve you know, you can trust him to get any guitar back to top working condition; repairing and replacing anything from electrics and pickups, to matching stain when revarnishing the body. This guy knows his onions when it comes to guitar maintenance. Don’t even bother looking anywhere else, if you care about your guitar.

On Thursday, having dropped my Les Paul when carrying too many things down the stairs I found, unsurprisingly, that all I got when I plugged it in was a loud buzzing. As this was the evening and I had a gig the following day I was afraid that I wouldn't have my main guitar. I called this company as they offer a call out service and Steve said that he would come out that evening, or the following day if I preferred. An hour later the guitar was on the kitchen table having the jack plug and a dodgy piece of wire replaced. Steve checked over the guitar in case there were other issues and gave it the all clear.

I am very impressed with the standard of service I received and the attitude of Steve. I will definitely use them again.

My daughter has an acoustic guitar which had fallen into a state of disrepair. The local music shops and others said it wasn't viable. Stephen at Booth Guitars took the job on and repaired it superbly for a superb price. Their customer service is second to none.

Having seen the exquisite workmanship of this rather extraordinary craftsman I can only wonder why his work is not all across the globe. But I understand that this master craftsman is of such great demand his work is completely carried out by hand using traditional and long forgotten methods of production. I have been a musician for over fifty years and in that time I have rarely come across such precision that was not done by machine. This high quality work is a statement to this craftsman’s unique ability to produce what are in my estimation one of the world leaders in handcrafted guitars. Sadly I have recently given up playing the guitar due to illness but had I been able to carry on playing I would have commissioned one of his masterpieces without a shadow of a doubt. I can only commend this work to the highest degree.
