Boo to a Goose Theatre is a husband and wife team and long-established children’s theatre company based in Devon. Our priority is emotional well-being, that’s because our training and practice has included safeguarding, nurture, child development, emotional literacy, positive behaviour management, education theory and imaginative play. Everything we do is underpinned by this knowledge and experience, we encourage participation and role play. Our drama workshops focus on developing confidence, communication skills, teamwork, empathy, as well as exploring creativity and the wonderful world of the imagination! We both have Enhanced DBS clearance and are members of actor's Equity.

Top Ten in U.K. 2017 (#NationalLotteryDays: ten great days out). A magical show for children up to 6 years. Highly interactive and multi-sensory, created to meet the developmental needs of children in Early Years, babies and toddlers will also be able to enjoy this show.
An exciting, highly interactive one hour show with puppets for children aged 4-10 years. Incorporating lively games, sea shanties, dancing the hornpipe and chocolate treasure - guaranteed to keep everyone engaged and enthralled. Afterwards there is face painting and tattoos for all.
The Queen of Hearts and The White Rabbit, are trying to arrange a tea party but one can't tell the time and the other is hilariously lacking in manners, so they need help. In this show literacy, numeracy and many social skills are being reinforced. Great for nurseries and children aged 3-6.
Based on the Gingerbread Man story, this interactive show promotes social skills and British values: democracy, the rule of law, respect and tolerance and addresses EYFS Framework objectives. Great for nurseries, primary schools and children up to 6 years.
Our drama classes involve playing theatre games, creating scenes together, exploring issues that concern participants, such as friendship and bullying, or anything else that interests them. For schools we provide workshops promoting friendship, SEAL and British Values.

Lovely group lovely people

i wouldn't feel confident leaving my young children with many groups! But boo to a goose is one of the only groups they love to go to and even beg to go back!! My children love telling me all about the group and I feel the group had really helped to develop their confidence and imagination
