Lost cat

There were two staff in my cat's pen cleaning it. They let my cat out of its pen into the corridor. There was nothing to stop it jumping onto the top of the pens, where it escaped through a broken window that thye claimed they did not know about. We were not told until 2 days later. Attempts at recovery were limited to telling a few contacts in Coxhoe and putting traps out.

Surprise, surprise, this did not work. We ourselves put posters in town, and offered a reward, This proved successful and he was recovered.

We have subsequently found the owner has talked about it to friends and made the statement, 'we got him back.'

They have made changes to the cattery to stop a cat getting on top of the pens. However, no apology or compensation offered for our costs incurred in finding him.
I would not recommend this cattery.
