DO NOT USE

For your own sanity do not use this company. I had an appointment for measuring on the 2nd of November and told they would be fitted within 2 weeks if we purchased. We was given a date of 28th of November for fitting. I received a phone call late afternoon on 27th day before to say that the bay window blind was missing and that we couldn't be fitted in till 18th of December. The fitter turned up and a bay window blind was missing. We spent most of the Christmas holidays with the curtains shut and I have had to chase for updates on what was happening with our blind. 16th of January and still no sign of missing blind. Spent 3 days continuously ringing and no answer still. DO NOT USE

Scammed

Came and measured my blinds on Thursday 9th January. Took £212 deposit off me. Phone call on Monday 13th to say they were going under. BUT I could contact my bank to get my deposit back. NOT as easy as that because they need proof of liquidation and an invoice which I didn’t get. Guess I can kiss that goodbye. I agree....I have been scammed.

The difference is night and day

I ordered over £1000 worth of blinds in November 2018 and couldn't have recommended Blinds of Hull enough. After about a year, I needed some more fitting and the difference was ridiculous. Customer service was incredibly poor - normally taking over 10 phone calls or Facebook messages to get any type of response from them.
Blinds were ordered and fitted incorrectly meaning a new one needed to be supplied, the process from start to finish took over 3 months to get sorted with only a £20 deduction on my bill - tight or what?
Fitters don't care about making a mess and left me with brick dust all over my new carpets. I'd never use Blinds of hull again. What a shame.

Poor Customer Service, lies and being fobbed off. No blind in the end

Absolute waste of time this company! Ordered blinds to have fitted 2 weeks after according to the sales man who did my quotation. Repeated calls from the office once I’d paid my deposit saying the are putting a 4 week date on the system due to the time it takes for the blind being made but assured me it will be fitted before the 4 weeks. I’ve had 6 text messages requesting full payment 24hrs before. Texts started on Monday, I e- mailed after calling repeatedly with no answer. I’ve complained saying I’m not paying full until I have my blinds, I’ve already given you a £50 deposit. After my e- mail was sent last night an abrupt lady called Jodie called me this morning saying “as you know your blinds are cancelled” I’m like what? No I didn’t know 🙄Giving me my deposit refund as the manufacturer can’t fulfill the order. What an absolute Joke, and you only realised this 4 weeks after. Wasted 4 weeks of my time that I could have had a blind fitted. Avoid, the customer service is appalling!

We had to chase up information at every stage, even for the order confirmation and proposed installation date. We have suffered five failed installation dates, notification of cancellation occurring mostly on the installation date. The inconvenience has been immense.
They have no complaints procedure. There is no email address. You can only make contact by phone or on their Facebook page. If you try to add an entry to the Facebook page, raising problems or making a complaint, the entry is instantly blocked, only glowing reviews are accepted. If you ring them they promise to call back. They have never rung me back over months of phone calls.
On the fifth installation date we were told that they still did not have all the blinds but would come and fit our bay window. When the fitter arrived, he only had 2 of the 3 blinds for the bay which would have been as ridiculous as putting up one of a pair of curtains. We cancelled the order and so far no joy re return of the deposit.
