Customer Service poor

3
The products are nice but customer service is very poor. Recently I was due a delivery and they were unable to confirm a rough idea of a time slot! Also my son bought me a gift voucher over the phone (large value) and they wouldn't post it to me! It's my local garden centre and as I don't drive I'm restricted to using them so I am very disappointed. The Battle store is so different, welcoming and helpful just wish I could get there more often.

Shopping at Blackbrooks Garden Centre, Lower Dicker

2
Very poor customer service when trying to buy a bag of compost. The member of staff was terse and unfriendly and I ended up choosing which barcode he needed to use and it was dismal experience in the extreme.

Avoid

What a disappointment this garden centre has become since the takeover by Blackbrooks . Prices have soared beyond belief and the quality has dropped. What was a thriving café enjoyed by many of our elders for its reasonably priced roast dinners is now a shadow of what it was. I now spend less for better food and drink in London. Today I spent £3.15 for a latte served in a egg cup and £3.45 for a slice of cake). I don't think I will be visiting again. Such a shame that greed has clearly overtaken what was a community hub for many where a cuppa and a chat was order of the day before buying the bedding plants.
