Safe and Supportive

5
I had therapy with BEES last year and it was at a point in my life when I felt I needed a black therapist to help me unpack some racial biases and discrimination I had felt in the workplace. I was felt so broken and distraught. My therapist was brilliant, I was able to share without feeling ashamed and I was supported all throughout. It felt safe and eventually, I felt strong again. I would recommend their service.

Professional, practical and thoughtful

I started working with my therapist in a moment of crisis over a year ago. The experience was practical and comforting as she understood some aspects of my experience intrinsically. Her analysis was thoughtful, professional and now, looking back, I can see that she has helped me find some hope in my current circumstance.

Nothing to be ashamed

I am proud to say I receive counselling! Without it I don't think I would be the person I am today. From the beginning the black counsellor created a safe space that made me feel comfortable

Confidential Conversation

It was scary and painful but the whole process has been invaluable to me and the ability to speak to someone outside my circle of friends, acquaintances, who look like me
