We offer a wide range of osteopathic treatments for a variety of issues. Following an initial consultation we can suggest a suitable course of treatment for you. Treatment length is judged on an individual basis as healing times vary depending on your individual circumstances.

We can treat a range of conditions including: back pain, neck pain, joint pain, shoulder pain, tension, postural problems, muscle spasms, sciatica and minor sports injuries. Our Chiropodists treatments include nail cutting, corn/callus removal, verruca treatments, bio mechanical assessments, bespoke orthotic prescriptions, and nail surgery. Lisa Carr is available on Tuesday afternoon and evenings, Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings - she's available for home visits.

Our latest addition to the Birtley Osteopathic Clinic is Donna Sadler, an experienced and knowledgeable massage therapist. Offering a range of treatments to suit your various needs, Donna will help by providing you relief for sore muscles allowing you to unwind after a hectic day.

I’ve had several bulging disks for a while now (L4/L5 and S1) and really been struggling with the pain. Doctors were not really doing anything to help or they want to prescribe medication. I’ve completed 6 sessions of the IDD Therapy and so far and i’m already very impressed with the results. I was struggling to stay asleep as my back was aching and when I was getting out of bed I was in agony, taking a while to walk around comfortably. The machine is very comfortable, secure and relaxing and if I’m honest i really look forward to my sessions. Cheryl is very approachable, professional and really put me at ease. She talked me through every step and explained what was happening. Now I’m managing to stay asleep longer and I’m not getting out of bed in agony. I’m managing to complete daily activities better now and just feel a million times better already and not even half way through my treatment. I look forward to see my results at the end of my treatment.

Truly professional operation.

Went to see Cheryll on the recommendation of a friend who was a patient of hers and had himself held senior positions in the NHS for several years. I had severe back/leg pains which after two visits Cheryll decided needed further investigation before she should proceed and organised a private MRI scan which determined the problem and a course of action via a neuro surgeon. Cheryll had foreseen this as a possibility but had made no attempt to elicit further sessions with me and in fact didn't charge for the second session since it wasn't completed. Very professional, highly recommended.

Highly recommended.
I have utmost faith in Cheryl to sort out my back problems whenever they occur.
Over the last 20 years or so, I have booked in to see Cheryl whenever my back problem flared up, and within a couple of sessions she had me "sorted".
Great service., very accommodating and very friendly.
