A great dealership
5After a week it developed a fault and the car was taken back to Binks for diagnosis and a new part was fitted. A few weeks later ,fault recurred this time the car was back with Binks for a week; the fault has been fixed with more new parts fitted. I have driven a few long distance trips and I have to say it's like a different car. The improvement was immediately noticeable and I am delighted with the car and with Binks' attitude to the problem throughout. Yes, it's been a bit tiresome for us and for the staff at Binks but with a little positive thinking and understanding all round, the problem was solved. I might add that I was always provided with a clean and fuelled courtesy car while my car was in for repair.
The XE is the third car that I have bought from Binks of Beccles, I have bought from many local dealers in the past, I wll not chance my luck with another dealer while i have them to buy a car from.

1I am disappointed to read this review, and the unpleasant comments regarding my staff. I recall this car having an intermittent noise from the front suspension area and this was investigated carefully. The car has covered in excess of 150,000 miles/12 years old, and therefore an element of wear and tear would normally be expected. My technician located some minor wear in the osf outer cv joint and this was replaced FOC under the terms of our warranty. No further noise was heard from the suspension. This repair was carried out six months ago and therefore if this has failed would be replaced FOC by our parts warranty. If Mr S would like to contact my reception we can arrange for the repair to be completed. Obviously, if the defect is from another area of the suspension then the warranty expired in May 18. We do encourage our customers to extend the warranty if they would prefer to reduce their exposure to future maintenance expense. My staff endeavour to offer an excellent level of customer care, but on this occasion we have fallen short and I would like to offer my apologies. Kind regards, D. Binks
