I am very happy to recommend Bill Wait’s driving school. Bill has a calm and positive demeanour which has put my daughter at ease from taking her first drive, tackling tricky roundabouts and manoeuvres through to passing her practical driving test. He has been flexible and accommodating. Bill was happy to teach my daughter around both Middlesbrough and Darlington because she was not sure initially where she would take her test. My daughter is now a confident, safe and competent driver thanks to Bill.

I approached Bill after having numerous driving lessons with someone else. I didn't give him to most time to aid me towards passing my driving test, however he was understanding and patient with me. He fitted me in around his schedule and has enabled me to pass first time. I can't thank Bill enough. All the hard work from both me and Bill has payed off. I highly recommend his services. He is a real genuine man.

Bill is a really friendly guy to learn with and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is starting to learn how to drive. I had to face a lot of adversity throughout my time learning to drive. I originally started to learn in Darlington but because of COVID we were unable to book a test in Darlington unless we waited at least 2 months (I was fully prepared and ready to take a test so I didn’t want to wait that long). We looked to book a test for Durham and managed to get in. Bill stuck with me and was very understanding when we decided to take the test in Durham. I passed today On my first attempt so I would highly recommend Bill. His way with words and capability to help you with any sort of tricky situation with regards driving is incredible. I am 17 years old and am now able to drive and I have Bill to thank for that.😁👍🏻

Bill Wait is an amazing driving instructor! His calm personality and good humor makes you feel at ease immediately in his lessons. He is great at explaining situations and ensuring that you understand what he is teaching. With his guidance I was able to pass my test on the first try. I highly recommend him!
