Never buy a car from Big Motoring World! Why?

We bought a 2020 Kia Sportage by using a loan, and a discount was made on the sale, which was reflected in the monthly installments as £15. A discount of 15X48 months, i.e. 720 pounds, was made. But later we realized that there was no discount and if we had accepted the first offer, we would have paid more than the market price for the car.

Before the sale, we were told that the vehicle's 7-year warranty offered by Kia continued for another three years. But after the sale, we learned that since the vehicle had never been to the Kia service, this car was actually largely out of the scope of this warranty.

In addition to these problems, we saw that the company whose professionalism we initially trusted did not act professionally at all, and that the service provided quickly and professionally when purchasing the vehicle did not continue after the vehicle was sold. We had difficulty finding an interlocutor throughout the process, and we still have difficulty.

Rear right brake grinding and scored

Container of fuel added yet zero miles

Big don't want to deal with you despite only having the car 24 hours

They eventually looked at the car , and said the engine management light was a historical fault and all they did was switch it off .... total lie

Historic faults do not appear then dissappear and reappear again

Brakes apparently are 100% ,despite being scored and grinding

Their aftercare is awful

I paid £99 to bring the car to the closer dealer and when I saw it it was filthy inside and out. When I asked about this I got told that there to busy to get it cleaned! I should of walked away right then but I was existed to get the car. They did not let me see the car keys till payment was made and I found them in bits when I asked about this I was just fobbed off. I drove 3 hours home and found out when I went to look the car it did not lock! I called them about this and was told I have to go through aftersales and then warranty. I brought this car on the 26/08/23 which was a bank holiday weekend so they were not open. I have called and sent email after email and just been told to book it in to a garage. Not only this but as of yesterday my check engine light came on. I have never delt with a company who could give any less of a rats butt about there customers. please do not give your money to these people.

If I could have given less than one star then I would have.
The faults in my car were not trivial, the Automatic Emergency Braking system is a key safety system on the vehicle and it was completely inoperative, the battery was no longer able to sustain the electrical functions of the car and the systems would not work properly because the computer software was out of date.

I have seen the response from BigMW to my Trustpilot review, they accept that they sold me a faulty vehicle but don’t want to pay for the repairs.
I challenge them to tell me the identity of the repairer who would carry out the necessary repairs for £177.60 as the cost of an approved Land Rover battery alone is £207.12. That doesn’t include the cost of fitting or the repairs to the braking system and the software update all of which were essential.
If you are thinking of buying a car from Big Motoring World you may want to reflect on my experience and their response.

just call in the morning to arrange and conform the booking, they said the car got sold to someone, viewers better find some good companies. rather than wasting the value time
