Fantastic!!!

I have recently had 2 plumbing and electrical jobs carried out by Ivo from Bertolli Heating and Engineering Ltd, and cannot recommend this company highly enough. Ivo has a thoughtful approach to jobs, clearly explaining options and costs, and researching solutions to more complex challenges. He is honest, repairing rather than replacing if viable, and his prices are very reasonable - he recently fixed my hot-water boiler, adjusting one element and replacing another that had burnt out, for less than half the price I'd previously been quoted (the previous 'engineer' hadn't even spotted that one of the elements wasn't broken and simply needed adjusting). Ivo communicates clearly about his availability and arrival times, turns up promptly, carries out the work quietly and unobtrusively, and cleans up carefully before leaving. I feel lucky to have found this company and will definitely use again as needed.

Professional reliable and trustworthy

My elderly mother has had two gas engineers come in and change the gas valve costing £350 and £400 a pop. It broke again? So we were recommended this lovely guy. He came in and actually examined the boiler properly and found the boiler flue through the loft not complete and as it was pulling all the dust from the attic into the boiler. So he cut and changed a new flue and fixed the flue to the wall properly. He then Completed a full strip down service changing all the seals, bolts and stuff. When he showed us the heater exchange water and condensation water it was full of dirt and dust Although this guy stated he can’t comment on previous engineers work I know as the engineers never went into the loft. This guy is excellent…. He only charged my mother for the full strip down service plus parts and when my mother tried to give him a £50 tip he would not except it and only asked for us to pass his number on. I fully recommend this professional hardworking really genuinly nice engineer.
